This motif marks the end of the challenge for me. I must admit that I feel a sense of relief and accomplishment to have completed the challenge in the stipulated time of 1 year. At the same time a tinge of sadness. Since tatting is not my primary craft, my taking up the shuttles will be far in between and/or when Jon comes out with a hard to resist fab design ;)

There are some projects that are in the pipeline already but I will continue my tatting rambles in my main blog here.

I want to thank dear Sharon for all her hard work in compiling my progress day after day, week after week and month after month. That can only be work borne out of love. My utmost gratitude. Yes, I have yet to applique the motifs to the shawl...sometime soon I hope :D

Rose without the leaf. Designed by Lisa C Trumble. Tatted with Anchor variegated 20. This will be last motif for my shawl. My 25th motif (last motif of the challenge) will be a gift, am quite sure the recipient does not read this blog ;)

There's a little error in the inner ring. I've tatted a picot when there shouldn't be any. Oh well...it won't be to noticeable once their all appliqued to the shawl.
